Urban Adornments
Urban adornments is a study of the city’s identity. The series brings ornament to the center of the discourse, examining connections between nomadic craft, Islamic art and modern architecture. Rather than focusing on the entire building or on open urban spaces, Urban Adornments pays attention to details that often go unnoticed. Framing details makes it possible to put buildings into context and to present them in an unfamiliar way.
